Land Museum inaugurated in Kurigram

The land office of Kurigram Sadar upazila has been established as “Land Museum” to avert fear to get service among common people about land management here which was inaugurated by Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Md. Sabirul Islam at 11.00am on Thursday (November 24).

Kurigram Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Resaul Karim, Superintendent of police Al Asad Mohammad Mahfujul Islam,Director of Local Government in Rangpur Fazlul Kabir,Mayor of Kurigram municipality Kaziul Islam, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rashedul Hasan and Sadar upazila land officer Mizanur Rahman were present among others.

The old land office building in Kurigram municipality area has been renovated and newly decorated to extend for digital land management. Various kinds of current information about land affairs have been kept on its wall and inside of the office. If anybody enters into the room can acquire knowledge observing such information and become fearless about land office.

Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Md. Sabirul Islam said people of all walks of life will come to the museum to see and understand the changing digital land management system from land management in ancient age. In addition, the fear about land management of the common people have avert changing good land management by the present government.
