Cox’s Bazar marks The Daily Messenger’s anniversary

The founding anniversary of The Daily Messenger, a national English daily newspaper, under the theme "Progress as the law of society through objective news reporting" was celebrated in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday (30 March) in Hotel Shaibal.

On Saturday, March 30th, a jubilant cake-cutting ceremony and a discussion meeting took place at Sagarika Restaurant, located within the premises of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Hotel Shaibal. The atmosphere was filled with festivity. Subsequently, an iftar event was organised to conclude the celebrations.

Cox's Bazar district correspondent of The Daily Messenger Rashedul Islam chaired the event while Tourist Police Cox's Bazar Region Additional DIG Apple Mahmud, Cox's Bazar Superintendent of Police Md. Mahfuzul Islam, Cox's Bazar District Administration Local Government Deputy Director S.M. Ferdous Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police of Cox's Bazar Traffic Division Jasim Uddin, Cox's Bazar Acting Editor of Dainik Sakal and Cox's Bazar Correspondent of Manav Kantha Farhad Iqbal, Nurul Kabir Pasha General Editor of TUAK, Muhammad Hasim Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Newspaper Owners' Association, Shajahan Chowdhury Shaheen, Cox's Bazar District Representative of Baishakhi Television, Cox's Bazar District Correspondent of Deept TV Haroon Ur Rashid, Cox's Bazar Correspondent of Dainik Samakal Ibrahim Khalil Mamun, Jasim Uddin District Correspondent of Daily Jugantar, Shahadat Hossain President of Cox's Bazar Journalist Unity, Mahabubur Rahman President of Cox's Bazar Sadar Press Club, Mohammad Nizam Uddin District Correspondent of Daily Khola Kagaj, Daily Sokaler Somoy Cox's Bazar District Representative Shahed Ferdous Hiru, Daily Bangladesh Bulletin's Cox's Bazar Representative Mohiuddin Mahi. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Cox's Bazar representative of Daily Ganakantha was present.

Journalist Jahed, TTN, staff reporter Shahed Hossain Mubin, Matiur Rahman, Ekram, and other esteemed individuals graced the foundation anniversary ceremony.

During the event, guests lauded The Daily Messenger's remarkable achievements as a new English newspaper, emphasizing its ability to captivate readers' minds with engaging news content. This commendable feat has swiftly garnered popularity among the masses within a remarkably short period.
