Freedom fighter AKM Salim Osman MP of N'ganj 5 constituency has made a special request to the Narayanganj city Mayor Dr Selina Hayat Ivy to save the people from snatching.
He said, I will request the mayor to form a patrol team. They will be on patrol here all the time, so that we can save the city'speople from being robbed on the move.
He said this while talking to reporters at BKMEA Bhavan on Saturday (March 30) noon. Narayanganj Press Club General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Jiban, Narayanganj City Corporation No. 12 Ward Councilor Mohammad Shawkat Hashem Shaku and No. 18 Ward Councilor Kamrul Hasan Munna and many others were also present.
A fund was given by the traders to control the traffic. This time in Narayanganj, buses and trucks have arranged themselves very well, there was no traffic jam on the road. But fund has gone only for traffic control. But there is pressure only on Narayanganj police station to control the market.
It actually becomes overloaded. So it is better to bring special police here. Ansar or volunteers can be employed here in this connection.
