The Comilla University Press Club has celebrated its seventh anniversary. With the slogan "In Search of Truth," the organization began its journey on April 4, 2018.
Through an executive committee of only nine members, Cou Press Club started its journey. Currently, with 25 active members and more than a dozen associate members, the organization is dedicated to authentically presenting news. Through the collaboration of senior and junior members, the organization is working diligently to present news on campus.
Speaking at the founding anniversary event, the current president of the organization, Ikbal Hasan, stated, ‘Comilla University Press Club has entered seven years. In this long journey, our elders and we had to see many adverse situations. There will always be adverse situations. However, the organization will always follow the path of truth after overcoming all adverse situations.
Satabdi Jubayer, the founding advisor of the organization, conveyed his congratulations on the seventh anniversary of the Comilla University Press Club. He praised the young journalists of the club for their dedication to truth and integrity. He acknowledged their successful efforts in fostering internal collaboration within the university family.
The Press Club plays a crucial role in promoting and disseminating information on campus, and it stands by the university community in times of crisis, maintaining the belief and trust of all family members.
He expressed hope that the Press Club will continue to play a central role in the university's work and publicity, supporting the university's global reputation. He wished for further beauty and success in the club's future endeavors.
