Bangla Press Club Russia gets new committee

Bangla Press Club Russia, an organisation of Bangladeshi journalists, has been formed in Russia. Barek Kaiser became the president of the new committee, and Farzana Smriti became the general secretary.

The committee was formed for two years at a restaurant in Moscow on Wednesday (6 December) local time.

Others on the committee are senior vice president Md. Gawsul Azam, vice president Abu Musa, Md. Shafikul Islam, and Al Amin Abdun Noor.

In addition, the committee's joint general secretary is Syed Mahadi Hassan, organisational secretary Sarmin Sultana, office secretary Asif Khan Tushar, publicity and publication secretary Md. Mahfuj Alam, and cultural secretary Md. Tofayel Ahmed.

Bangla Press Club Russia President Barek Kaiser and General Secretary Farzana Smriti said that the members of the organisation will practice honest, impartial, objective, and creative journalism by maintaining mutual unity and being motivated by the spirit of patriotism. Besides, it will work to keep Bangladesh's bilateral relations with Russia intact.
