District Superintendent of Police Golam Mostafa Russel has been awarded the highest medal of Bangladesh Police "Bangladesh Police Padak (BPM-Seba) 2024" for crime suppression and service work.
Along with this, Sub-Inspector (SI) of District Counter-Terrorism Unit, Md. Mizanur Rahman Mizan, has been awarded the "President's Police Medal (PPM-Courage) 2024" for his bravery in fighting crime.
Police Week-2024 Annual Police Parade was held at Rajarbagh Police Lines in Dhaka on Tuesday (February 27). Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presented the BPM (Service) medal to Superintendent of Police Golam Mostafa Russell on the occasion. Besides, Sub-Inspector of District Counter-Terrorism Unit Md. Mizanur Rahman presented PPM (Courage) Medal to Mizan.
It is to be noted that N'ganj SP Golam Mustafa Russell was awarded President Police Medal (PPM) twice before. And SI Mizan was conferred the rank of "IGP" by the Inspector General of Police Bangladesh.
