Abdun Noor Sajal, the acclaimed actor who delivered a powerful performance in last year's hit film '1971 Shei Shob Din' directed by Hridi Haq, is set to take on a new challenge. Following his impressive turn in the film 'Jinn', Sajal has been announced as the lead actor for the upcoming movie ‘Jiboner Khela’, helmed by director Walid Ahmed.
This collaboration marks the first time Sajal will be working under Walid's direction. The director, whose previous film ‘Megher Kopat’ was released last year, is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the talented actor.
Sajal expressed his excitement about the project, saying, “It's absolutely true that I want to work on characters that the audience hasn't seen me portray before. That's why I'm trying to give special importance to the characters while working in films, so that it doesn't happen that the audience has already seen me play a similar kind of role in drama. So I'm trying to work with understanding.”
“I have a good understanding with director Walid Ahmed. His unit is excellent. So it can be hoped that my film ‘Jiboner Khela’ will also turn out to be a good film. Shooting will start soon. I seek everyone's prayers,” he added.
Sajal revealed that 'Jiboner Khela' is an action film, a genre he is particularly excited to explore.
Alongside his film commitments, Sajal has been busy working on several dramas for the upcoming Eid celebrations. He remains dedicated to taking on roles with compelling stories and portraying himself in new and challenging ways.
In a first for the actor, Sajal has also lent his voice to the Bengali dubbing of a foreign serial, an experience he described as "quite wonderful."
