Such love is rarely found these days, just like a fairy tale. A similarly immortal love story will be seen in the upcoming Eid production of CMV titled ‘Rupkotha’. Tausif Mahbub and Keya Payel have acted as the lover Juel and beloved Mili, respectively, in this 75-minute production. The story and direction are helmed by Zakaria Soukhin.

The director informed that instead of a drama or telefilm, he has actually attempted to make a film. In this special film, he has tried to depict an extraordinary love story of love, separation, and familial bond. Something that will make the audience feel like they're in a fairy tale.

The story begins with Juel, the only thorn of the flower-like beautiful village Mayatali. The entire village is tormented by his oppression. Mili has to come to the same village due to her father's job transfer. After that, the love-separation tale of ‘Rupkotha’ begins to weave, according to Zakaria Soukhin.

Both Tausif and Payel are expressing their satisfaction and excitement about acting in ‘Rupkotha’. They said this is going to be their best work this Eid because both the story and production are extraordinary.

Producer SK Sahed Ali Pappu mentioned that among nearly 20 projects this Eid, ‘Rupkotha’ is their highest budget and longest production. Hence, the production house has sky-high expectations about this work.

‘Rupkotha’ is being released on CMV's YouTube channel as a special Eid festival event.
