Singer Anonnya Iasmen Angkon announces her marriage to Abhijit Jitu, a fellow musician. They married two years ago, and recently, a small get-together was held at a village home in Rajshahi, attended by members, relatives, and friends from both families. The singer herself confirmed the marriage to the media recently.
Angkon participated in the popular reality show 'SaReGaMaPa' in Kolkata in 2011, which helped launch her career. Following her stint on 'SaReGaMaPa,' she achieved further recognition by becoming the second runner-up in a local reality show in 2016. While Angkon began her career through reality shows, she is currently busy with television appearances and recording original songs.
After a two-year break, Angkon released her first original song, 'Valo Thakte Dili Na,' in 2018. Following her debut, she went on to release several audience-favourite songs such as 'Bichheder Korat,' 'Amare Chariya,' 'Trishna,' 'Tala Lagaiche,' 'Je Premete,' 'Bondhu Jay,' 'Chyangra Bondhure,' and 'Debor-Bhabi.'
